description

UKBERT IW is an "oil-free" pump, suitable for air or non-corrosive/non-explosive gases, suitable for use in series with a backing pump. This is done to increase the vacuum level while reducing the time required to reach the vacuum level. Within the temperature limit, the maximum vacuum of the UKBERT IW is 0.001 mbar.
The GQ version is optimized for food packaging applications.

Technical Details

  • the three-lobe rotor is an evolution of the classic two-lobe design, shaped like an "eight". This design ensures higher bending stiffness and lower pulsation amplitude, thereby reducing vibration. The economic advantage of bearing life is considerable. Compressor noise is also significantly reduced.

  • Synchronous gears are surface hardened and tempered. The gears are precisely ground to ensure the best timing. The "long appendix" involute design provides maximum efficiency with virtually silent mechanical operation. This design allows the vacuum booster to be installed without a soundproof canopy.

  • The pump body, oil pan and cover are assembled with O-ring seals to ensure maximum tightness. This improves reliability and reduces maintenance costs.

  • The sealing of the rotor is achieved through a labyrinth, which does not touch and therefore does not produce friction. This is very suitable for high rotational speeds of the rotor. This solution saves money due to the reduction of energy dissipation and the absence of any other expensive cooling systems.

  • The shaft seal adopts Silicon Carbide/graphite double mechanical seal to ensure high reliability and durability. The diameter of the shaft is specifically designed to maximize strength and reduce peripheral speed and associated friction. Low maintenance costs and low risk of downtime can maximize cost savings.
