UKBERT series chemical pumps effectively solve the key problems of environmental protection, process management and cost control. UKBERT the series pump is the only canned pump that meets the two industry standard sealless pump specifications produced by the standard: ASME B73.3M Sealless Horizontal End Suction Centrifugal Pump Specification for Chemical Processes and Sealless Centrifugal Pump Standard ANSI/HI-5.1 -5.6 Performance and Size Standard. Upgrading to the standard ASME B73.3 supply enables UKBERT series pumps achieve API 685 compliance.

UKBERT the series canned pumps are designed completely according to user input and represent the best available technology (BACT) for sealless pumps using Bert bearing monitoring technology. This monitoring function will help you, your customers or customers perform preventive maintenance, enabling responsible operators to predict wear patterns based on actual system conditions, thereby increasing the average maintenance interval (MTBPM) of the pump and maintaining production. With the proper use of Bert's monitor, pump failure should become an expense of the past.

In terms of mechanics, UKBERT the series design has many elements that help reduce installation, maintenance and space-related costs, while enabling you to continue to save costs throughout the installation life cycle. Other benefits and features include:

leak-proof design - UKBERT series pumps are more than just seal-free. All sealless pumps reduce maintenance, parts inventory, product leakage and downtime associated with mechanical seals. UKBERT the series offers all this and more. Secondary sealing of the process fluid is standard. UKBERT series pumps provide a secondary seal. In the event of a catastrophic failure, all pumped fluid will remain in your system. Secondary seals are especially important in high system pressure applications. The safety and housekeeping issues associated with highly volatile or expensive pumps contained in this manner are real system design advantages.

High efficiency motor - UKBERT series motor UKBERT designed and manufactured specifically for enclosed motor pumps. This efficient design allows the use of a thicker primary containment, increasing the margin of the containment without losing efficiency.

Spare parts -Due UKBERT series pumps use fewer parts than seal pumps and magnetic coupling pumps, and therefore require minimal spare parts inventory. UKBERT series pumps provide a degree of interchangeability, covering all wearing parts in the entire model range. The bearings, thrust surfaces and bushings are the same for all pumps from 5 to 50 HP. As a result, spare parts stocks were significantly reduced. The pull-back design is essentially standard, and all wearing parts can be replaced quickly and easily without removing the pump housing from the pipeline.
