Technical Details

  • the UDE pump series is specifically designed to handle hot fluids up to 320 ° C without the need for a special cooling system. In the active cooling version "YU", The diathermic fluid may be pumped to a temperature of 365°C.

  • The heat of the pumped product is greatly blocked by a special "insulated" chamber located between the pump casing and the impeller. The bearing frame is specially designed with a heat sink, which effectively dissipates the heat of the pump casing and can be safely used with a standard, simple and single mechanical seal. The rotor is supported by oversized C3 series ball bearings, which are lubricated with medium viscosity oil.

  • The pump casing and impeller are the same as the UDI series pumps, with the smaller two frames.

  • The structural material is ductile iron or stainless steel AISI 316. For the latter configuration, there may be a special sealing means "TQ".

  • The dimensions and characteristics of the pump meet the ISO 2858/DIN 24256 standard, which is the same as the corresponding model of the UDI series.

  • The flow rate can reach 350 m3/h and the lift can reach 10 bar.

Special structure

The design is different from the standard UDE series, only in the mechanical seal area; An intermediate cover is added outside the mechanical seal. This intermediate cover shall be connected to a storage tank containing oil compatible with the pumped fluid. The device prevents air from entering the pump, irreparably oxidizing the pumped oil, or bearing oil from entering the pumping circuit, or vice versa, in the event of a mechanical seal failure.
